A Hidden Philly Gem Reaches Great Star Status

The Rittenhouse 1715, a luxury boutique hotel in Philadelphia, kind of reminds you of one of those movie stars that people may not realize is a celebrity, but after that one movie,(which would be equated to that one overnight stay) they are catapulted into being a household name.
The Rittenhouse has gone through an extensive renovation, including a name change. It used to be called the Rittenhouse Square Bed and Breakfast. It is located on a quiet street in the heart of Philadelphia, half a block from Rittenhouse Square, a street that could easily pass for a simple neighborhood street, with it’s extensive display of full grown trees, no indications that a hotel would be anywhere in sight. Rittenhouse Square happens to be one of the more charming neighborhoods in the city, with its cobblestone walkways, pubs, cafes, and bookstores.
Each room in The Rittenhouse has its own personality, a theme kept from the original bed and breakfast it was before the name change. The Rittenhouse has 23 guest rooms, with Junior and Presidential Suites. All guest rooms have their own private marble bathroom. All rooms come with plush robes, nightly turndown service, CD players, ipod attachments, plasma TVs, and Molten Brown bath amenities.
The hotel also offers wireless connections throughout the hotel, with two separate computer workstations in case guests prefer to go without their laptop. There is a 24 hour concierge service, complimentary wine every evening in the lobby and a complimentary continental breakfast every morning.
The Rittenhouse prides itself on being a good stay for people traveling on business or for couples looking for that all important romantic weekend. The hotel, in its entirety, is available to rent out also, mainly to celebrities who are looking for a private spot to house guests without the intrusion of the public.
