Five Reasons To Love This Philly Hotel

We’re not biased. Therefore, we will not mention one specific brand hotel. That would be unfair and uncivilized. Okay, maybe it wouldn’t be uncivilized, but you get the idea. Instead of focusing on one specific hotel, let’s look at five reasons you would love any Philly hotel.

1. The Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have been a fixture in the NFC East for decades. While they haven’t won any Super Bowls, they always seem to make it to the playoffs. In case you’re not aware, Philadelphia sports fans are some of the most passionate fans in the world. It’s highly recommended that you go see an Eagles game. Try to get tickets early and never wear the opposing team’s attire. Go with Eagles attire and everyone will welcome you with open arms.

2. The Philadelphia Phillies

The Phillies have the best pitching staff in the major leagues. This has been the case for several years and it’s likely to be the case for many more years. If you want to see a lights-out pitching performance with a lot of strikeouts, go to a Phillies game.

3. The Liberty Bell

This bell rang for the first time in 1776, which was to indicate the first reading of the Declaration of Independence. The crack was put there on purpose to prevent expansion, but the crack itself expanded too much in 1846 – presumably on George Washington’s birthday – and the bell is now incapable of ringing.

4. Independence Hall

This is where we first chose to rebel against England. A little more than a decade later, it’s also where the first 12 states were announced. Independence Hall has recently been rehabilitated.

5. Manager’s Reception

While all the attractions above might be fun, and great reasons to stay at a Philadelphia hotel, sometimes it’s even more fun to enjoy a few beers and some snacks at your hotel. Philadelphia hotels are known for offering top-of-the-line manager receptions. They’re something everyone should take advantage of.
